I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember. As a child, a pencil and a blank page were all I needed to wander into a world of my own. That quiet joy followed me to school, where I poured my heart into class wall newspapers and art activities, and was proud to see my class win awards for our shared work.
It was at a painting workshop that I first touched silk, and something in me softened and stayed. Silk asks for patience, a steady hand, and gentle attention to every brushstroke. It is slow work, and I have come to love it for exactly that reason. Since then, I have been learning, with endless curiosity, how to listen to this delicate and little-known art form.

Selected Works

The Proud Rooster
A rooster stands tall in a patchwork of green, red and gold, with his little chicks close by. Inspired by Đông Hồ folk paintings, this piece celebrates warmth, family and the joy of Tết.

Beneath the Willow Veil
A young woman in a soft green áo dài rests beneath weeping willows, lost in a quiet thought. She is my tribute to the gentle, nostalgic beauty of Vietnamese women and the old days.

Whispers by the Lotus Pond
Two egrets lean close among drifting lotus leaves, wrapped in shades of rose and blue. I painted it as a quiet conversation, gentle and unhurried, like the Vietnamese countryside at dawn.
